Terms and Conditions

While I strive for perfection in all my handmade items, I am a human and touch every thread in your item — I am not a machine. Your item ships from a non-smoking, pet-friendly home. If you have allergies, please wash your item before using or consider a pet-free weaver.

Shipping

Shipping costs on both international and domestic orders are non-refundable. Customer acknowledges that Paper Street Weaving is located in Canada. Due to the nature of custom products, items that are refused or abandoned at delivery for any reason are non-refundable at the discretion of Paper Street Weaving. I am not responsible for items that are lost by any delivery provider during a return. Customs charges are the buyer’s responsibility — no returns or refunds will be granted on this basis, and I cannot advise you on whether or not you will be charged customs fees. Full value is always declared on customs forms.

Invoices

All invoices must be paid before shipping of the item. Unpaid invoices without any communication will result in removal from the chatter group, and you will not be allowed to purchase directly from Paper Street Weaving. If an invoice is unpaid in the specified time with no communication, you will forfeit your deposit. If you are unable to pay your invoice please contact Deidre Cleator to make arrangements. Terms and conditions of payment plans are to be arranged between the customer and the weaver. If the payment plan is not followed per arrangement, the weaver holds the right to cancel the plan and list the item for sale to the public.

Dye Work

Dye can be unpredictable, even with the best planning. While I do my best to reach our vision when I dye things, it may not always look exactly as envisioned. Communication in the dyeing stages is crucial. If you are unhappy, please let me know — it’s the only way to make sure we end up with something we both love.

Custom Orders

Custom orders involve a back-and-forth conversation about fibre, color, draft, sizing, and finishing. I’m an over-communicator on purpose. By the time I touch the loom, we will have agreed on the plan and you will have approved any sample dye work. Custom slots are filled in the order they are deposited.
